City Dog License Requirements

Reminder Regarding Dog License Renewal

This is a friendly reminder that all dog licenses are required to be renewed January 1st of each year except in cases where a lifetime license has been purchased.  Any dog over the age of 16 weeks is required to have a current license.  The cost of an annual license is $5.00 for dogs that are spayed or neutered and $10.00 if

WINTER PARKING RULES IN EFFECT

With the arrival of winter I wanted to remind everyone of the winter parking regulations.  City Ordinance 10-5-9 requires that between November 1st and April 1st no owner or operator shall park a vehicle on Michigan Avenue, Johnson Avenue, College Avenue, Main Street, Wisconsin Avenue, First Street, A Street, or Riverside Avenue between the hours of 2:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m.

Two More Burglaries in Orofino

While on patrol 10-21-11 the Orofino Police Department discovered a window had been broken out at Farmers Insurance on Highway 12 which is the second burglary to this business in a week.   Later that same morning dispatch received a call from the Glenwood IGA advising that the store had also been burglarized sometime the night before after closing time. Entry was forced into both businesses and small amount of cash was taken from Farmers along with property damage; and several hundred dollars of merchandise was taking from the IGA.  The case is still under investigation by the Police Department.  The Police Department is requesting anyone with information regarding the thefts to please contact us at 476-5551.

 

Two Local Business Burglarized

On the morning of 10-17-11 the Orofino Police Department received burglary reports from Harper’s Chiropractic Clinic and Farmer’s Insurance.  Both businesses are located adjacent to one another on Hwy 12.  Entry was forced into both businesses and small amounts of cash were taken from each.  The case is still under investigation by the Police Department.  The Police Department is requesting anyone with information regarding the thefts to please contact us at 476-5551.
