I began my career in law enforcement with the Idaho County Sheriff’s Department in 1989 working as a Patrol Deputy. In 1996 I became an investigator for Idaho County working narcotics along with two other investigators working the major crimes for the County. I was part of the tri-county task force where I worked narcotics cases in Idaho, Lewis and Clearwater County. In 2001 I was promoted to Patrol Sergeant where I worked as front line supervisor for Patrol Deputies in the county.
In 2006 I contracted with the Department of State where I supervised US Police Officers and assisted in mentoring and training Iraq’s Police Force with the goal of stabilizing Iraq. I mentored and trained the Major Crime Unit in Mosul Iraq.
I have an A.S. Degree in Criminal Justice and hold a Master Certificate in Law Enforcement with Idaho Police Standards in training.
I have over 1000 hours of continued law enforcement. I am a certified Instructor with the State of Idaho and have a Master Training Certificate with the US State Department.
